How Does Online Therapy Work?
To Get Started: Call Us, Chat Online, or Simply Walk-In
Online therapy starts with a phone call, a web chat or by walking in – we’re available 24/7. We’ll set up a virtual or in-person assessment to discuss your symptoms & goals, and together we’ll create your care plan.
Tools Needed to Participate
- Internet connection
- Computer, tablet, or smartphone
- A valid email address
Connect with Your Therapist & Group
After your assessment, you’ll receive your online therapy schedule and full instructions to log-in to your sessions conducted by secure video conferencing.
Attend Your Sessions via Video Conference
Online Therapy looks a lot like a group video chat. Your therapist will lead the session and all members of your group will have a chance to participate and share thoughts, feelings and challenges in order to make desired changes.
Online Therapy Tips
- Engage with your therapist and the group
Ask your therapist questions and respond to questions or discussion prompts from the group - Share your thoughts & feelings freely
If this is your first time attending group therapy, you might get nervous and hesitate to speak out. Remember, the more you share, the more your therapist and group can help you move forward in recovery. - Keep a journal of your progress
Journaling can help organize and track your experiences with teletherapy and help you check in with yourself after each session.
