Drug addiction is a complex and chronic disease. People who are addicted to illegal or prescription drugs may feel as if they have no control over their actions or behaviors. They may experience physical cravings or symptoms when they don’t use these substances. They may have tried to quit, maybe even several times, but just can’t seem to make it stick.
There is hope and help at Columbus Springs.
Our drug addiction treatment program offers medically assisted treatment to help you safely withdraw from the substances you use. Medication isn’t a cure, but it can keep you safe and help ease your discomfort during withdrawal. We also provide customized inpatient and outpatient programs that include many opportunities for individual, group, and family therapy.
We offer both detox and rehab services for patients struggling with addictions to opiates/opioids (including Heroin, Percocet, Oxycodone, Fentanyl), benzodiazepines (including Xanax, Ativan), and stimulants (including Adderall and Ritalin).
At our facility, we treat both mind and body. Depending on the type of drugs you take and the amount, we may recommend inpatient treatment, which may start with a detox program to clear your body of the addictive substances. This could include medication to help your body adjust.
While medication can help, you’ll also take part in a variety of therapies to strengthen your recovery. Your personal care team will include a psychiatrist, a nurse, a patient care assistant, and an activity therapist, as well as other medical and specialized personnel. They’ll work with you to develop and complete a treatment plan that includes recreational therapy, as well as behavioral therapy. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy our well-maintained grounds and other activities throughout your stay.

You may transition to an outpatient program following inpatient treatment, or your drug rehab could start on an outpatient basis.
We offer two types of outpatient treatment. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) generally involves daily treatment for up to six hours a day, five to seven days a week, while allowing patients to live at home during treatment. Or, you may be ready for our intensive outpatient program (IOP), which offers therapy three to five days per week for three hours each day.
